CONTEXT
SharePoint spaces is a platform where users can arrange content in a 3D environment and view it with a virtual reality headset. Despite it being a fundamentally 3D experience, there was still a need for 2D user interfaces within the experience.
OBJECTIVE
Expand a visual exploration into a kit of parts for building UI which is interacted with on desktop and in virtual reality.
KEY CHALLENGES
Becoming familiar with the affordances and ergonomics of virtual reality devices at a time when the technology was new and changing.
